Tonight, in the game of the 11th round of the Latvian Highest league, we defeated “Auda” with the scoreline of 2:1. Kemehlo Nguena and Marko Regža scored goals for our team.
In the first round, we won “Auda” 1:0. Marko scored the only goal in that game.
We played very well for the first 25 minutes. We controlled the game, the ball, created several goal opportunities, but were unable to score. At the end of the half, “Auda” was active, but we survived and after the first half of the game it was tied. 0:0.
In the second half, we were active again, and in the 48th minute Kemehlo Nguena scored a masterful goal from close range – 1:0. We had opportunities after that as well, but in the 61st minute, the opponent’s midfielder Mane scored a fantastic goal (1:1). We didn’t get confused, we continued to attack, and 20 minutes before the end of the game, the top scorer of the championship, Regža, scored a goal. Victory with 2:1.
The next match is on May 10 at the Skonto Stadium against “Valmiera”.
