Tonight we played the first test match in Turkey as part of a three-week training camp. We defeated one of the strongest teams in Bosnia and Herzegovina, “Borac Banja Luka”, with a scoreline of 2:1.
We left for Turkey on February 2 and will train until February 22. As part of the training camp, the team will play test matches against teams from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Ukraine, Kazakhstan and Denmark.
On Wednesday we played against “Borac Bonja Luka”, one of the strongest Bosnian teams and a participant in the UEFA Conference League play-off. The weather conditions in Antalya were bad today. The first half was difficult in strong winds. In the 29th minute, the opponents scored a goal, but a few minutes later we responded after a corner kick. Ahmed Ankra scored from close range. After the first half, the score was 1:1.
Several substitutions were made during the second half. We created a lot of really good moments, occasionally created great combinations, and in the 66th minute, after a cross from Brian Peña, Antoni Contreras scored a beautiful goal with his head – 2:1. The same Peña hit the crossbar a little later. The final result was a 2:1 victory.
On February 9, we will play against the Montenegrin team “OFK Petrovac”.
