Tonight, in the semi-finals of the Latvian Cup, we defeated “Liepāja” with the result 2:1. Marko Regža and Antoni Contreras scored for our team!
In the first half of the game, we controlled the ball more and created more scoring opportunities. In the 14th minute, Contreras scored a beautiful goal, but after the help of VAR, they showed it was hand-ball. In the 41st minute, Marko Regža scored a goal with a header – 1:0. Opponents also scored during first half stoppage time, and the first half ended with a score of 1:1.
In the second half, we were the best team on the field and created several good moments. The goalkeeper saved the opponents several times. At the end of the game, the opponents made a foul against Talla, and the penalty kick was taken by Contreras. Victory with the result 2:1.
We will play against RFS in the Latvian Cup final on October 25!
