Tonight, at the Skonto stadium in 26th round game of the Latvian Highest league, we won “Metta” with the scoreline of 1:0! The next game is against the Dutch club “Twente” on Thursday.
This season we won both games against “Metta” – 4:0 and 2:0.
In the first half of the game, we didn’t have many scoring opportunities, but we scored one goal. In the 45th minute, Kemehlo Nguena scored a beautiful goal with a header after a pass from Raivis Jurkovskis! 1:0 after the first half.
In the second half, we missed several scoring opportunities. In the 76th minute, El Bashir Ngom was sent off after receiving second yellow card. The end of the game was nervous, but the team showed character and won 1:0.
The next match on Thursday is the second leg match of the 3rd qualifying round of the UEFA Europa Conference League against the Dutch club “Twente”! The kick-off at 20:00
