Tonight, in the game of the 23rd round of the Latvian Highest league at the Skonto Stadium, we very convincingly defeated “Jelgava” with a scoreline of 6:1. UEFA Conference League match against Polish vice-champion “Śląsk Wrocław” on Wednesday.
This year we won both games against the Jelgava team. We won 2:0 at home and away in Jelgava with 5:1.
On Friday, we started the game very convincingly, and in the 12th minute, Reginaldo Ramires scored a goal from the 11-meter mark. We completely dominated the first half and scored three more goals. After the first half we were leading 4:0.
Anthony Contreras and Hrvoje Babec also scored in the second half. We were able to score several more goals, but the opponents scored also, and in the final result we won with the result 6:1.
The next match is on July 24 at the Skonto Stadium against the Polish vice-champion.
