On Saturday, in the 2nd round of the Latvian Highest league we won 1:0 for the second time in a row. This time we won “Auda” with this result. The only goal was scored by Marko Regža.
In the first game of the season, we beat “Grobina” with a scoreline of 1:0, but “Auda” did not save a single point against last season’s champion RFS (1:2) in the last minutes.
In the first half of the game, both teams played carefully and there were few good scoring opportunities. Quite logically, the first half of the game also ended with the score 0:0.
At the beginning of the second half, Marko Regža scored the second goal this season. Raivis Jurkovskis played well on the right side, the defender then made a pass past the goal and scored a goal similar to the one scored by Regža from close range in the first game (1:0). We were in complete control of the game. Ousseynou Niang missed a great opportunity in the final part of the game. The final result was a 1:0 victory.
