On Friday, November 7, Riga Football Club will play its last game of the season at Skonto Stadium. We will face FK RFS in the Riga derby, but after the game, a special award ceremony and Afterparty with world music star John Newman are planned.
This season, after a four-year break, we won the Latvian championship title and did it for the fourth time in the club’s history. This will allow us to return to the UEFA Champions League next season.
On Friday, we will play our last game of the season. And it will be special. We will host our most principled opponent, FK RFS, at Skonto Stadium, who triumphed in the previous two seasons and also proved themselves well in the European Cups.
This season, we have a positive balance against this team – two wins and one draw. Although the game will change nothing in the tournament table, a derby is always a special match.
After the match, a special award ceremony with a performance by world music star John Newman is planned. The kick-off at 19:00!
