In the semi-final of the Latvian Cup, we defeated FK “Liepāja” very convincingly 4:0 and secured a place in the final. Marko Regža scored two goals, and Orlando Galo and Reginaldo Ramires scored one each.
We started the Latvian Cup with the round of 16 barrier, where we beat “Tukums 2000” 4:0. In the quarter-final, we scored ten goals and defeated “Riga Mariners” (10:0).
In the semi-final against “Liepāja” we also demonstrated a good performance, and in the 4th minute, after a good team combination, Marko Regža scored a goal from close range (1:0). Midway through the half, Regža took his chance from the penalty spot, and after 45 minutes the team was leading 2:0.
The start of the second half was weaker, the opponents managed to create a couple of good moments, but we held on together. After that, we were already the best team on the field. In the 70th minute, Orlando Galo scored a goal, but in the 82nd minute, after another good play from us, Reginaldo Ramires scored the fourth goal of the game (4:0).
In the final on October 30, we will meet FK “Auda”.
