22-year-old Ousseynou Niang is Senegalese club “Diambars” grown-up player. The attacking midfielder started his career in Europe in 2022 in the Latvian club “Auda”. At this club, Niang scored four goals and made three assists in 19 games.
Before the 2023 season, Niang signed a contract with our team. For “Riga” Niangs played a total of 37 games, scored ten goals and gave five assists. Niang is a two-time winner of the Latvian Cup.
There has been a lot of interest in Niang from many strong European clubs in recent months, and after long negotiations we have agreed with one of the strongest clubs in the Belgian Highest league, “Union Saint-Gilloise”, for a record transfer fee for our club.
