Ousseynou Niang in an interview for the club media remembers time in Latvija and ‘Riga” and talks about his next challenge in Belgium.
“To start I want to say a big thank you to “Riga”, a big thank you to the members of the club. My time in the club was very incredible. From the beginning when I arrived in the team they welcomed me well. I was very happy and pleased. I had good times in the club and very difficult times, because of my cruciate ligament last year. A big thank you to the doctors of the club they supported me throughout my injury until the day I returned to the field and started to play again. In any case it was very great,” Niang gives his commentary about his time in Riga.
I can say for me my point of view, the last 3 years the Latvian championship has evolved a lot on all levels . Physically all the matches are hard. The championship is very hard, believe me all the matches are rhythmic,” Ousseynou shares his thoughts on Futbola Virslīga level.
”Most incredible moments with the team are the two cups that we won. They were unforgettable moments in my life. I want to wish the team first good luck for the rest of the championship, it’s not over yet, you have to believe everything is possible in life. Thank you very much to the coaches, the managers, the players and the members of the club,” Niang continues.
What are his future goals? ”On the sporting side I am progressing well on many things, especially mentally and physically
The trainings were at the top level. My expectation is to show the club they are not wrong. I will do everything to succeed in the club, My goals are to win titles my club UGS and go to the Senegal national team.”
