On Wednesday, we will fly to Finland and play a test match against “Honka” team of the Finnish Highest league. Four players of our academy will fly together with the main team – Roberts Raivis Aršauskis, Maksim Parkhomenko, Gļebs Kačanovs, Daniils Putrāns!
The team has come back to trainings in Riga after a couple of day offs and is preparing for the continuation of the season. On Wednesday, we will fly to Finland, where we will play a test match against the Finnish club “Honka”.
12 teams participate in the Finnish championship. “Honka” is currently playing in the strongest group and tooks the fifth place. In 22 games, “Honka” has accumulated ten victories and 35 points. “Honka” is three points behind third place.
Four academy footballers who plays in the First League will fly to Finland with the team. Roberts Raivis Aršauskis, Gļebs Kačanovs, Daniils Putrāns and Maksim Parkhomenko, who was named the best player of the month in the First League for August. Maksim has scored ten goals this season.
The game against “Honka” will take place on September 8 at 15:00.
