Contreras returns to Riga

The 24-year-old Costa Rican national team forward Anthony Contreras, who spent the first half of the year on loan in the Cypriot club “Paphos”, has returned to “Riga Football Club”!

Contreras joined our team last summer. In total, the striker played 22 games for “Riga”, scored 11 goals and made three assists.

Contreras spent the first half of this year on loan at “Pafos”, the winner of the Cyprus Cup. In 16 games as part of this team, Anthony scored one goal. Before that, Contreras had only played in Costa Rica.

As part of the Costa Rican national team, Contreras has played 28 games and scored four goals, but he also recently participated in the prestigious “Copa America” ​​tournament.
