Tonight in the 25th round game of the Latvian Highest league, we defeated “Tukums 2000/Telms” with a scoreline of 5:0. Reginaldo Ramires scored two goals, Brian Peña, Ousseynou Niang and Anthony Contreras scored one each.
This season, in the first match we experienced an painful loss away from home with the result 1:2, but in the second match we won at home with 3:0.
In the first half of the game, we had a big advantage in ball control and also created several good goal-scoring opportunities. Goalkeeper Jānis Beks saved the opponents several times. In the 39th minute of the game, the opponents made a foul in the penalty area, and Reginaldo Ramires scored a penalty kick. After the first half we were in the lead with 1:0.
We scored four goals in the second half. In the 65th minute, Ramires scored the second goal (2:0) from a close range after a pass from Niang. Six minutes later, Brian Peña hit the ball beautifully into the far corner of the goal. In the 75th minute, Niang scored after Ramires’s pass, and in the 81st minute, Anthony Contreras scored with a header. The final result was a 5:0 victory.
