Tonight in the 2nd round of the Latvian Highest league at Mežaparks Sports Village we played a 2:2 draw against “Auda”. Goals for our team were scored by Reginaldo Ramires and Brian Peña.
In the first game of the season we won SK “Super Nova” with a score of 2:0, but “Auda” lost to the champion of the last two years RFS with a score of 1:2.
At the beginning of the game we showed a good performance, put pressure on the opponent’s goal, but were unable to score a goal. In second part of the first half there was an attractive game from both teams. The stands were practically full, the spectators found the game interesting, however after 45 minutes the score was 0:0.
At the beginning of the second half the referee awarded a penalty kick, and “Auda” scored the first goal of the game (0:1). In the next 13 minutes we scored two goals after passes from Gauthier Mankenda. Reginaldo Ramires scored first, but in the 63rd minute – Brian Peña (2:1). We could have scored a third goal, but Roberts Ozols saved the guests. In the 81st minute “Auda” scored a goal with a lucky ricochet. Final score 2:2.
