This season we competed in four tournaments, including two historic debuts:

Women’s Super Cup 2025 – a historic tournament held for the first time in the history of Latvian women’s football.

Women’s Football League Champions – the title secured with three rounds still remaining in the season.

Women’s Football Cup Winners – for the second consecutive year we played at Skonto Stadium, and this time celebrated victory in front of our own supporters, lifting the trophy at the most historic football stadium in Latvia.

Baltic Women’s Football League Champions – the season concluded at the end of October at our home stadium, where we lifted our fourth trophy of the season. This was the first Baltic League title ever won by a Latvian club in women’s football.

Baltic League Champions
Instead of the originally scheduled four group matches, we played two (against FC Flora and FK Gintra). Two fixtures were cancelled due to technical reasons; as a result, we were awarded three points in the standings and finished as group leaders.
After defeating RFS Women in the semi-final, we secured the Baltic Women’s Football League trophy with a 3:1 victory over MFA Žalgiris in the final.

Our European journey began in the first qualifying round, held in Luxembourg in late July and early August. Following a convincing win against the Estonian champions, we were defeated by the hosts in the second match, which prevented us from advancing to the second qualifying round.

Squad & Staff Highlights

We started the season with eight foreign players, the highest number of foreign players in the history of Latvian women’s football. Despite squad changes during the season, the number of foreign players remained unchanged.

Head coach change: the season began under Igor Kļosovs, but in early August Vadims Burlačuks was appointed as head coach.
