Tonight in the 7th round of the Latvian Highest league, we convincingly defeated FK “Tukums 2000” with a scoreline of 3:0. Goals were scored by Anthony Contreras, Reginaldo Ramires and Eduards Dašķevičs.
In the previous game, we were disappointed when we were unable to defeat FK “Metta” at home. The opponents had earned five points in the first six games.
In the first minutes, we completely controlled the game, dominated and created one attack after another. At the very beginning, we missed some opportunities, but in the 27th minute, Antonhony Contreras scored a goal with a header after a cross from the right flank – 1:0. In the final part of the half, Reginaldo Ramires scored a goal in a similar style, and after the first half we were leading 2:0.
Nothing much changed in the second half. There were fewer good moments in the second half, but we also did not allow the opponents to create much. In the 71st minute, Eduards Dašķevičs finished a very good counterattack. The final result was a very convincing victory with a score of 3:0.
The next game is on April 19 at Skonto Stadium against FK “Grobina”.
