One of the Highlights of Latvian Women’s Football – The Women’s Cup Final at Skonto Stadium
This year, Riga FC Women’s journey to the Latvian Women’s Cup Final began in the quarterfinals against FS Metta, where the team cruised through with a convincing seven-goal advantage.
In the semifinals, the draw paired Riga FC Women with one of the toughest possible opponents — RFS Women.
In a truly “final-worthy” semifinal clash, Riga FC Women celebrated a four-goal victory, thanks to two goals each from Natsumi Taketa and Kumba Brima.
Meanwhile, in the other semifinal, FK Auda earned their place in the final after a hard-fought 1:0 win against Rīgas FS.
The Women’s Cup Final took place on the evening of October 18, at Skonto Stadium, in front of nearly 600 spectators. In a fantastic atmosphere, Riga FC Women and FK Auda battled for the prestigious title.
With a seven-goal margin, Riga FC Women triumphed and proudly lifted the 2025 Latvian Women’s Football Cup Trophy!
